He was refused in his childhood to be taught when he wanted to learn Sanskrit language because he was not born into Brahmin caste. He was so determined to learn Sanskrit and read Vedas, and Puranas, and later critcised all the irrational explanations and stories in them and he succeeded by being trained by the famous Tirupathi Venkatakavulu and did Sathavadhaanams with them. He studied vedas and all sections which became a foundation for his later criticisms about adulteration by the Brahmins. This was a mark of his strong will and determination to overrule the Brahmin supremacy.

He reformed the marriage process by translating vedic marriage rules into Telugu language and called Vivaha Vidhi. He opposed the Muhurthams etc which were a predominant part of marriages done by Brahmins. He himself conducted the marriages.
He was a Hetuvadi (one who will always ask why, what and how for any dogmatic statement made by others) and never accepted any thing without rationality and this was the basis for the uplift of the regional communities. He was dubbed as an atheist but from his writings it doesn’t appear like this .
A postage stamp was released by the Indian postal services to honour him.

Sachid Anand Tripuraneni (anglicized as S.A. Trip) (U.K)
He is the grandson of Vishnu Sankara Rao. Neurologist and a Multiple sclerosis specialist. Noted for his research work(attained Ph.D from London) into the ways of finding out the extent of nerve damage that occurs following optic neuritis and other forms of relapse following multiple sclerosis by using different retinal imaging techniques and MRI techniques(anterior visual pathway imaging). This is very important because by the nature of the disease multiple sclerosis is very crippling disease and loss of vision or visual impairment will be physically and psychologically detrimental for the well being of the person. So this research is significant as it is useful in monitoring the treatments that improve the optic neuritis and a welcome contribution to the medical science.
Tripuraneni Nilesh (U.S.A)
Child prodigy
Did the notable research on the liquid marbles.
It appears that this study has brought a more precise and broad understanding of the static and kinetic behavior of liquid marbles. Additionally, liquid marbles' applications to the field of digital microfluidics(Microfluidics is the science of manipulating and controlling fluids) have also hitherto been unexplored; a proof-of-principle demonstration seems to suggest that liquid marbles would form-fit the needs of digital microfluidics - efficiently transporting discrete packets of liquid - and perhaps remedy a few of its problems.
Liquid marbles are non-stick droplets(normally aqueous) wrapped by micro-or nano-metrically scaled hydrophobic, colloidal particles(Teflon, polyethylene, lycopodium powder, carbon black, etc.); representing a platform for a diversity of chemical and biological applications. Liquid marbles are also found naturally; aphids convert honeydew droplets into marbles.
