Problems in life

A problem is defined as a matter or a situation regarded as unwelcome or harmful, needing to be dealt with or overcome. Do problems come on their own or does the man create them for himself? Why would anyone create problems to oneself knowingly? Then the question comes can he cause them unknowingly? On the spur of the moment the statement or the question appears to be wrong. But it is not wrong. why because, they are in someway connected with our past lives or with our past activities in the present life which we have forgotten. In a nutshell man himself is the problem. If a man doesn’t exist, then there no problems. In short everybody has problems, but it is only the difference in the quality and the quantity and how one is effected with them and how one goes about solving them.

A problem is considered as a problem when there is no idea how to deal with it rather than not having a solution for that situation. Another way of looking at it is that it is an opportunity for something but it is associated with difficulties/pitfalls. Under those circumstances one has to adopt to the policy “nothing ventured, nothing gained” and grab the opportunity for betterment of life. One has to turn the problems in adverse situations by looking at them in a positive way and learn the lessons from them.

Running away from problems is like sweeping the dirt under the carpet as it is not going to go away, but it will only delay the misery and it will delay finding the solution. It may even get worse and hence it is better to nip it in the bud. To quote the famous physicist Einstein here, “we can’t solve the problem by using the same kind thinking we used when we created them”. So when somebody thinks that he has a problem, he has to go back to the drawing board and look at the root cause. If he can alter or modify his thinking if not radically, the answer appears on the other side of the coin glaring at him. So changing the thinking is one solution. If not, one has to learn to endure and allow the time to sort it. Given time, what appeared like a major problem in one moment, it may not look that serious in a few months time. Until then, one has to be just patient and endure. It will teach patience in life.

It is better not to make a quick decision when somebody is in anger. Anger is the result of frustration which in turn is caused by the inability to solve the problem or the time taking to solve is prolonged. A person loses the thinking capability when he is angry. So it is better to sleep on it and make a right decision to solve rather than jumping to make a quick decision for a quick solution and in the process making another mistake and creating another problem which will become a chain.

Finally the two useful tips for the problems are as follows:

It is no use to talk about ones problems to others because some are indifferent and the others are happy to see others having problems, as it is human nature unless one is very civilised and kind hearted. So it is better to solve them by oneself. If not, one should look for someone not to solve all the problems but will not allow the other to face them just by himself i.e a caring friend.
