The Ignorant Eye
The Sky and the sea appear to meet somewhere on the horizon
But they never do and the ignorant eye does not know that
The sky and the land appear to meet somewhere,
But they never do, but the ignorant eye doesn’t know that
The world appears to be true but it is not
But the ignorant mind’s eye cannot see that
The consciousness is true but it doesn’t show off like that
But the ignorant mind’s eye can neither see nor focus on that
The Eeeswara is the same as the Jeeva but doesn’t look like that
Because the ignorant mind cannot understand that as the eye is blind
The I(self) in the I(gross body) has an eye which is that real brightness
Which is that consciousness and knowledge and the bliss(the truth)
That I has got an eye which is always open and
That is the third eye which will not open until
You decide to force it open and make it see the
The Sun, the sea, the land and the I, all are unreal
And that wants to say hello and goodbye at the same time
To the ignorant eye, telling that I am here to drive you away
You can’t hide anywhere while I am open
I will throw you out once and for all
Who will tell you that you have a third eye?
And who can force it open?
Who else but one’s own Aachaaryadeva,
Seek for one, and sure, you will find one.
Dedicated to the most revered in my life who opened my third eye, Swami Sundara Chathanya Ananda.
